Remember the Hampshire game last weekend? This was pretty much déjà vu.
The story in a nutshell… Middlesex are put in, lose early wickets and Luke Hollman does his best to bail them out with a decent knock during the closing stages of the innings.
Hollman’s efforts add a hint of respectability to the total, which is in the region of 130 but nowhere near enough to seriously test strong opposition, who cruise to the target with two wickets down and just under six overs to spare.
Ollie Pope and Jason Roy sealed Middlesex’s fate on this occasion, with their partnership of 74 from 44 balls.
