Perennial T20 underachievers have 'clean slate' in Blast, says Fulton

Head coach Peter Fulton has labelled the Vitality Blast ‘a clean slate’ for Middlesex as they set out to try and shake off an unflattering T20 reputation during the coming weeks.
The Seaxes have repeatedly struggled in the shortest format of the game, qualifying for the knockout stages of the Blast only twice since their triumph in the 2008 final.
In the last five years, they have finished second from bottom of the South Group four times – propping up all the rest on the other occasion, the 2023 campaign in which they recorded only three victories.
