Ryan Higgins believes batting in England requires a philosophical approach in conditions that more often than not favour the bowler.
The Middlesex all-rounder hit 131 on day two of the County Championship Division Two fixture against Durham at Lord’s yesterday to end a century famine stretching back 20 months.
It was the last day of August in 2024 when the Harare-born 31-year-old last reached the landmark with his fifth century that season, so it’s been a while.
