Jubilant Middlesex head coach Peter Fulton tipped Naavya Sharma for ‘a big future’ after his whirlwind spell of four wickets in 10 balls paved the way for victory against Lancashire at Old Trafford.
The 20-year-old quick made a decisive impact on the third morning of a tense, low-scoring game, coming on to bowl with the home side 109 in front and removing Matty Hurst and Tom Hartley with successive deliveries.
