Middlesex wicketkeeper/batter Joe Cracknell predicts he and Zafar Gohar face a testing morning ahead following a see-saw opening day of their County Championship game with Northamptonshire at Wantage Road.
Cracknell continued his fine start to the season with an unbeaten 66, sharing an unbroken stand of 120 with Gohar (62 not out) as the visitors recovered from first 20-3 and then 164-6.
The Durham University graduate, who cut and pulled to great effect is conscious the second new ball will be due after half an hour this morning.
