Marc Broom says he caught a glimpse of his side’s ‘true potential’ despite Sunday’s eight-wicket County Cup defeat at the hands of Tier One Warwickshire.

The Middlesex Women’s head coach was in bullish mood in the aftermath of the clash at Radlett where his charges dragged a Bears side containing established stars such as Abbey Freeborn, Nat Wraith and Katie George into a scrap only decided in the final over of the contest.
