Middlesex’s six-wicket defeat to Glamorgan was their fourth in a row in the Blast and their sixth in seven matches. Here’s our take on events at Sophia Gardens.
For more than half their batting innings Middlesex made a much better fist of it than in other recent losses and looked set for a score of around 170 when reaching 110-4 in the 13th over.
However, the catastrophic run out of Ben Geddes in a mix-up with Luke Hollman was the first of three wickets lost in 11 balls for only three runs and they had to settle for an under par 153.
