Rory Coutts might not be the first name to trip off the tongue when discussing the Middlesex backroom staff – but the county's Women’s head coach Marc Broom believes he’s one of the best in the business at his art.
Coutts has been in and around the Middlesex set-up for the best part of two decades now, progressing up through the youth and academy coaching ranks to his current position of club coach.
Yet, save for being wheeled out occasionally to face the media on a day when things have perhaps gone less than well on the field, Zimbabwean-born Coutts is a man who has quietly wheeled away backstage rather than in the limelight.
