Joe Cracknell says Middlesex are confident of extending their perfect 50-over record at Radlett this season and securing a place in the Metro Bank One-Day Cup final.

The Seaxes tied down home advantage in Sunday’s semi-final – against either Lancashire or Durham – after beating Sussex by 92 runs in the last of their Group B fixtures, with Cracknell hitting his first limited-overs hundred.

Having already seen off Essex and Glamorgan at Radlett earlier in the tournament, the 26-year-old wicketkeeper-batter told Up The Middle: “We are confident playing here, I feel we know the lengths to bowl and the areas to hit.
