Luke Hollman is hoping to carve out a reputation as Mr. Adaptable to expand his white-ball cricket horizon.
The leg-spinning all-rounder’s unbeaten 47 from 33 balls was about the only positive from Middlesex’s 8-wicket humbling at the hands of Hampshire Hawks at Merchant Taylors’ School yesterday.
Coming in at 47-5 with his side in disarray, this was the second time already in the competition where Hollman demonstrated an ability to display controlled aggression in a bid to get his side to a score approaching respectability, rather than employing the all guns blazing from the get-go mode he is perhaps more renowned for.
