Geddes highlights role of returning Holden in Derby triumph

Middlesex captain Ben Geddes praised the returning Max Holden after their partnership set up victory against Derbyshire Falcons and rubber-stamped a knockout place in the Metro Bank One-Day Cup.
Holden, who is registered to Manchester Super Giants during The Hundred, was permitted to rejoin his county side at Derby for his first appearance of the 50-over tournament and contributed 65 from 77 balls.
Geddes struck his first century of the competition, an authoritative 109 from 93 as the pair put on 156 for the third wicket to guide Middlesex to 327-6, their highest total so far in the group phase.
