Middlesex must not 'throw the baby out with the bathwater'

Roland Butcher has warned Middlesex must be ‘very careful’ not to disrupt the chemistry of their 50-over line-up when they select the team for Sunday’s Metro Bank One-Day Cup final against Leicestershire.
The Seaxes could opt to bring in a number of experienced players who have barely featured in the competition to date, or not at all, as they target a first List A final success since 1990.
Those could include top-order batters Sam Robson and Max Holden, along with all-rounder Ryan Higgins, but Butcher – who helped Middlesex to four limited-overs triumphs during the 1980s – urged caution.
